It isn’t easy if you’re gay. Did you know that 70 per cent of 'straights' meet their partners at work? That isn't an option for most of us.

It can be particularly difficult if you live outside the big cities and want to make a genuine relationship rather than superficial contacts in pubs or clubs.

You may have already found that contact adverts tell you next to nothing about the person and can be very misleading. And many introduction agencies charge the earth, or just send you printed lists with brief details and PO Box numbers.

The Circle can transform your social life! We offer the following options, in whatever combinations you require:

• Profiles with photos of the members who match your requirements, from your own location, or, if you prefer, from anywhere in the UK (no extra charge).
• A password and username of your choice to enable you to access the private members' gallery on this website, where you will be able to browse members' profiles and photos (in colour) from all over the UK (sorted according to location and age). No contact details appear here; these are only available if you are a member of The Circle either by telephone, post, or e-mail.
• Your own profile in the private members' gallery on this website, so that our members can contact you.
• The opportunity to direct all correspondence via The Circle to protect your privacy.
• A genuinely personal service including help composing your profile, if you need it.
• Reassurance that we will provide you with value for money. If you have concerns about any aspect of the service you receive we will 'go the extra mile' to ensure you are fully satisfied.

We think you will be delighted that you joined The Circle, but please remember that it is impossible to predict chemistry. You will get the best out of the service if you let us introduce you to a broad spectrum of members, make the effort to contact all those that interest you, and keep your own requirements to the essential minimum - it's amazing how often people end up falling for those they wouldn't normally consider 'their type'!

Please treat other members with courtesy at all times, reply to letters and honour any arrangements you make to meet. We reserve the right to terminate membership if these courtesies are broken.
